23:27. ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు తమ దేశాన్ని బలవంతంగా వీడునట్లుగా నేను చేశాను. యూదాకు కూడా ఇలాగే చేస్తాను. నా దృష్టినుండి యూదాని మరలిస్తాను. నేను యెరూషలేమును అంగీకరించను. అవును. నేను నగరాన్ని ఏర్పరచుకున్నాను. నేను మాటలాడేటప్పుడు యెరూషలేము గురించి నేను ఇలా అన్నాను: ‘నా పేరు అక్కడ వుంటుంది’ అని. కాని నేను ఆ ప్రదేశంలో వున్న ఆలయాన్ని ధ్వంసము చేస్తాను” అని యెహోవా చెప్పాడు.

23:27. కాబట్టి యెహోవానేను ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని వెళ్లగొట్టినట్లు యూదావారిని నా సముఖమునకు దూరముగా చేసి, నేను కోరుకొనిన యెరూషలేము పట్టణమును, నా నామమును అచ్చట ఉంచుదునని నేను చెప్పియున్న మందిరమును నేను విసర్జించెదనని అనుకొనియుండెను.

23:27. The LORD announced, "I will also spurn Judah, just as I spurned Israel. I will reject this city that I chose— both Jerusalem and the temple, about which I said, "I will live there."
